Vietnamese clothing is a blend of indigenous and foreign influences, reflecting the country's diverse cultural history. One of the most well-known and iconic examples of Vietnamese fashion is the áo dài. However,  the áo dài is not the only type of traditional clothing worn in Vietnam. Different regions of Vietnam have their own distinct styles of dress, and many of these styles have been passed down for generations. For example, the áo tấc is a type of traditional dress worn by women in northern Vietnam, while the áo bà ba is a traditional garment worn by men in the central region of the country. These different styles of clothing are all part of the rich and varied cultural heritage of Vietnam.
Through this project, I want to to showcase some of the beautiful and unique aspects of Vietnamese culture to a wider audience and help to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of Vietnamese culture.
